Len Pope: Lenny is the Owner and Director of Training has been a PRI Instructor since 1998. Currently employed at Hamilton Twp Fire District 3 as a Firefighter since 2001. Prior employment at Trenton EMS (TEMS) for 10 years. Along with teaching Water Rescue, Len is also an instructor in HAZ-MAT, CBRNE, and Confine Space.
Shannon Pope: Shannon has been a PRI Instructor with PRI since 2000. Currently serving in West Windsor Twp. with the Twp. Fire & Emergency Services department. Prior service with Trenton EMS (TEMS) for 6 years. Shannon is a certified instructor in CPR, HAZ-MAT, CBRNE, and Confined Space.
James Chebra: MS CEM NREMT-P, Jamie has been teaching with PRI since 1996. He is an avid paddler and conformable in both ocean and river environments. Jamie works for Capital Health as the Emergency Preparedness (EP) and Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Operations Manger. He has been a paramedic for eleven years and actively involved in first aid for the last 19 years. Jamie was a member of NJTF-1 for several years. Jamie has both climbing and mountaineering experience. Jamie spends some time guiding whitewater rafting trips. His hobbies include hiking, kayaking, writing and photography.
Joe Gribbons: Joe grew up along the Delaware River and at age 16 is credited with saving a boy who had become trapped against a strainer in Scudder’s Falls. He has an almost 30 year history of volunteering both Fire and EMS in New Jersey & Rhode Island. During those years has held nearly every position including the rank of Chief. Today, Joe works as a Lieutenant in West Windsor, N.J. His job includes Fire-Rescue, EMS, Hazmat and Rope Rescue. He is also a member of New Jersey Task Force 1, Urban Search and Rescue Team. As a member of their Swiftwater Rescue component Joe spent two weeks in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Joe has been teaching Swiftwater Rescue with PRI for ten years.
Kevin Rice: Kevin has been with PRI since 1998 as a lead Instructor. Currently serving with the Trenton Fire Dept. on Rescue Co.1. Prior Service with Trenton EMS (TEMS). Kevin spent two weeks in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Kevin Has been involved in numerous hands water related rescues in his current assignment with the Rescue Company.
Eric Rowlands: Eric has been with PRI since 1999 as an Instructor. Currently with the Ewing Twp Fire Dept. assigned to Rescue / Engine Company 32. Prior service with Ewing EMS and Trenton EMS (TEMS). A member of NJTF-1 USAR. Eric is a member of Task Force 801 Technical Rescue Team.
